Fuser Installation Instructions for M607-M612 & M631-M636

Step 1:
Power down the printer and remove power cable.

Step 2:
For M607-M612 open the rear service panel. For M631-636 open the side panel for service.

Step 3:
Using the fuser handles, depress the retaining clips and pull the fuser straight out to remove it from the printer.

Step 4:
Insert new fuser and push it firmly into its seated position.  An audible click should be heard when the unit is seated correctly.

Step 5:
Close the back door.

Step 6:
Plug the printer in and turn it back on.

Please note: This fuser is equiped with an automatic maintenance reset and does not require additional steps to reset the fuser life.

If the fuser does not reset, reinstalling the fuser can sometimes clear this issue.
